I was working on a nutritional post for this week. It just would not come together. Felt soap box’ish. So instead I will write about wine.

We all have food vices. No matter how healthy we eat, sometimes we need to hop off the wagon from time to time. My vice is wine. Doesn’t need to be pricey, but is has to be good and not too sweet. White is great in summer and with light foods. Red, if you choose right, works just about anytime. Right now I’m digging French Chardonnay. I love how wine tastes, the notes, the aroma, and the art of making them. I don’t drink often, but when I do I really enjoy it.

I ended up writing on this because I had a very good Pinot Grigio. It’s the header pic on this post. Crisp. Hint of fruit and minerals. Less than $15. Enjoyed it after a killer morning workout and a busy day. I earned it. If you are going to work hard, it’s ok to play from time to time.

Maybe that nutritional post will finally get there. For now, try the Pinot.
